tiedhearts, Inc. receives personal information from the people who contact us and use our services. We handle and protect that information in accordance with the policy below.

Our commitment to protecting personal information

tiedhearts, Inc. (“the Company”) operates a comprehensive information website for mothers, a wellness business and other internet services. Personal information obtained from customers through these activities, together with the personal information of our employees (collectively, “personal information”), is important to the Company, and we recognize that protecting it reliably is an important social responsibility.

Accordingly, the Company handles personal information obtained through its business activities in line with the following policy, providing peace of mind to customers and employees and fulfilling its social responsibility.

Policy

1. Acquisition, use and provision of personal information

  • We acquire personal information by lawful and fair means.
  • We use personal information only within the scope necessary to achieve the stated purpose of use.
  • We obtain the individual’s prior consent before providing personal information to third parties.
  • We do not use personal information for purposes other than those stated, and we take measures to prevent such use.
  • Should a new purpose arise, we obtain renewed consent before using the information for that purpose.

2. Laws, national guidelines and other standards

We keep abreast of the laws and regulations relevant to our handling of personal information, make them known to the employees engaged in our business, and comply with them.

3. Security management of personal information

  • We build and maintain a framework for prompt corrective action to prevent risks such as unauthorized access to, and leakage, loss or damage of, personal information.
  • We carry out inspections, promptly correct any violations or incidents found, and take preventive measures against weaknesses.
  • We thoroughly educate our employees on security.

4. Complaints and consultations

We have established a contact point for inquiries about personal information and respond promptly and in good faith to complaints and consultations about its handling.

5. Continuous improvement

  • Our personal information protection management system monitors and audits compliance with internal rules, seeks out violations, incidents, accidents and weaknesses, and is reviewed by management. The results are reflected in our controls and internal rules to continuously improve the system.
  • Improvements are made in compliance with laws and regulations.

Cookies and analytics

Our website (www.tiedhearts.com) uses the analytics tools below to understand how it is used and to improve it. These tools use cookies (small pieces of data stored by your browser) and your browser’s local storage to tell visitors apart, and send information such as the pages you view and when, the referring page, actions such as clicks and scrolling, your IP address, and your browser and device type to the company that provides each tool. The Company does not identify you personally from this information alone.

Google Analytics (Google LLC)

We use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. Cookies whose names begin with “_ga” (kept for up to two years) distinguish visitors and sessions so that we can measure how the site is used.

PostHog (PostHog Inc.)

We use PostHog to understand actions on the site such as page views and clicks, and to find errors that occur on our pages. It stores an identifier that distinguishes visitors in a cookie whose name begins with “ph_” (kept for one year) and in your browser’s local storage, and sends usage data to PostHog’s servers in the European Union (Germany).

Cloudflare Web Analytics (Cloudflare, Inc.)

Cloudflare, which delivers this site, measures page views and loading speed with its analytics feature. This feature does not use cookies or local storage and does not track individual visitors.

Spam protection on the contact form (Cloudflare Turnstile)

The contact form uses Turnstile by Cloudflare, Inc. to prevent automated submissions. To judge whether a person is operating the form, and to improve that judgment, Turnstile sends information such as your IP address and browser type to Cloudflare. What you type into the form is not sent to Turnstile. To limit repeated submissions in a short time, we also record the number of submissions for a limited period, keyed not by your IP address itself but by a value converted from it (a hash).

Disabling cookies

You can disable or delete cookies in your browser’s settings. You can still view this site with cookies disabled.

Requests for disclosure

When the Company receives a request from an individual or their representative regarding the personal data it holds — notification of the purpose of use, disclosure, correction, addition or deletion of content, suspension of use, erasure, or suspension of provision to third parties (“requests for disclosure”) — we handle it through the contact point below.

Voluntary nature of providing personal information

Providing personal information to the Company is voluntary. Please note, however, that if you do not provide it, we may be unable to reply to you or provide our services.

Your rights and our contact point
